Good news for workers on minimum wage!

What is the new minimum wage?

This increase will also apply to starting out and training minimum wage rates which will increase from $15.12 to $16.00 per hour.

These minimum wage changes will set the new relative benchmark for pay negotiations between employers and employees.

If you're an employee:

If you're an employer:

If you are an employer with staff currently on less than $20 per hour, make sure you have preparations in place to ensure payroll systems and processes are updated to implement this minimum wage increase.
